一期一会 一所懸命

栄養を 求むる者は 多けれど 供養の心 知るは少なし

No man can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other or he will
cling to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and Mammon.

Conscience be of much science.
悲しいことではあるが、完全に善なる存在になるのは不可能である。食物連鎖の
例を見ても、弱肉強食・自然淘汰の現実を見ても、明らかである。しかし、
叡智を傾けて行動すれば、弱肉強食などが、利己主義者の戯言に過ぎないことが
実証できるかもしれない。良心の徒が真の科学を自覚し、研究すればの話である。

往々にして、科学だけが一人歩きして、良心が埋没してしまいがちなのが、人類
の歴史であった。釈迦や孔子、ソクラテス、キリストなどが、良心に従っての
勇気ある生き方を実践してみせたのだが、やはり、焼け石に水となって、却って
彼等の哲学・慈悲の教えが曲解悪用されて、今日の紛争の原因となっているのは、
泣くにも泣けない悲しい事実である。彼等ですら、無理なのだから、私達には
とても無理な話なのだろうか。

言い違い 聞き違い 思い違いは 不和のもと 明記伝達 和気藹々
Listen if you have ears. Now, to what can I compare the people
of this day? They are like children sitting in the market place.
One group shouts to the other, "We played wedding music, but you
wouldn't dance! We sang funeral songs, but you wouldn't cry!"(M11)
They look, but do not see, and they listen, but do not hear or understand. This people will listen
and listen but not understand; they will look and look, but not see, because their minds are dull,
and they have stopped up their ears. Otherwise, their eyes would see, their ears would hear,
their minds would understand, and they would turn to me, says God, and I would heal them.(M13)
一期一会 一所懸命
It is God who clothes the wild grass?grass that is here today and gone
tomorrow, burned up in the oven. Won’t he be all the more sure to
clothe you? What little faith you have!
Can any of you live a bit longer by worrying about it?(M6)
一視同仁
Jesus : And love your neighbor as you love yourself. Do that and you shall
live eternally.
A man : I am a camel driver. Who can I call neighbor?
Jesus : He to whom you show mercy and compassion, whether you know him

浮世・憂世？： 得意に浮かれず、失意に憂はず
うれしきに 悲しきにつけ 偲ばるる 人になりたし 今日を努めむ
Jesus said, "My last wish is that you love one another as I have loved
you. The greatest gift a man can give is to lay down his life for his
friends. When I am gone, you will be grieved. But your grief will
turn into joy. A woman in childbirth feels pain. But when his child is
born, she does not remember the pain.
For a child has been born into the world. And one day I will see you again, and when I do, your
joy will be such that no one can take it from you.
For you have the faith, and you believe in me, in Him, from whom I was sent.
栄養を 求むる者は 多けれど 供養の心 知るは少なし
Jesus said to him, "If you want to be perfect, go and sell all you
have and give the money to the poor, and you will have riches
in heaven." When the young man heard this, he went away sad,
because he was very rich. Jesus then said to his disciples,"
I assure you: it will be very hard for rich people to enter the
Kingdom of heaven. I repeat: it is much harder for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of
God than for a camel to go through the eye of a needle.” (M19)
No man can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other or he will
cling to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and Mammon.
おのれのほっせざるところは 人にほどこすことなかれ
Do for others what you want them to do for you: this is the meaning
of the Law of Moses and of the teachings of the prophets.(M7)
Treat your fellow man as you would have him treat you. For this
is the Law of the prophets.
正＝一＋止： おのおのが おのが正しき ひとやすみ
Do not Judge others, so that God will not judge you, for God will
judge you in the same way you judge others, and he will apply to
you the same rules you apply to others. Why, then, do you look at
the speck in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the log
in your own eye? How dare you say to your brother, ‘Please let me
take that speck out of your eye,’when you have a log in your own eye? You hypocrite! First take
the log out of your own eye, and then you will be able to see clearly to take the speck out of
your brother’s eye.(M7)

Conscience be of much science.
悲しいことではあるが、完全に善なる存在になるのは不可能である。食物連鎖の
例を見ても、弱肉強食・自然淘汰の現実を見ても、明らかである。しかし、
叡智を傾けて行動すれば、弱肉強食などが、利己主義者の戯言に過ぎないことが
実証できるかもしれない。良心の徒が真の科学を自覚し、研究すればの話である。

往々にして、科学だけが一人歩きして、良心が埋没してしまいがちなのが、人類
の歴史であった。釈迦や孔子、ソクラテス、キリストなどが、良心に従っての
勇気ある生き方を実践してみせたのだが、やはり、焼け石に水となって、却って
彼等の哲学・慈悲の教えが曲解悪用されて、今日の紛争の原因となっているのは、
泣くにも泣けない悲しい事実である。彼等ですら、無理なのだから、私達には
とても無理な話なのだろうか。
Think with the wise and talk with the vulgar
生き甲斐（人間としての）誇るべきこと、心得、自行利他
若しことごとく書を信ぜば、書は無きに如かず。
